Currently working as the company manager for Jordan Roth's hot new theatre event, The Donkey Show and recently a management associate for Fran and Barry Weissler (Chicago, The Musical, Annie Get Your Gun), Caralyn has always had her eyes set on producing commercial theatre. During her formative years, she ventured beyond the cloistered enclave of the Columbia campus to be on the running crew of the 1992 Off-Broadway production of Chess as well as to intern for the film PR firm Denis Davidson Associates, and producer Alexander Cohen. In 1996, Caralyn began a two year stint in the television industry as a production coordinator for Nickelodeon, the #1 cable network. While at Nickelodeon, she associate produced two new musicals: The Prince and The Pauper (Queens Theatre in The Park) and A Witch’s Tale (Irvington Town Hall Theatre), based on the movie Bell, Book & Candle. Last spring, she also associate produced, Chess, a Benefit Concert for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS at The John Houseman Theatre. Caralyn, in association with James Marino and 2die4 Productions, is also currently working on several other Broadway recordings, What’s a Nice Girl Like You… featuring Darrin Baker and nine Broadway Divas and Live at the West Bank Café, Christiane Noll.
